I just installed this blog, Elite SEO Services, today. I am doing some SEO testing on how quickly blogs get indexed and ranked, among many other things.
I am dead serious about learning, understanding and applying SEO techniques to our business and others’. I will publish the findings here, along with the proof, so If you want to learn more about SEO or SEO services with us follow along. I think you’ll find this very interesting because based on everything I have learned so far, in my SEO experience, much of what is preached in mainstream SEO channels is DEAD WRONG!
For example, most say a site can’t get to the front page of Google quickly, WRONG! Here is one proof (I have many others.) in a fairly competitive market. I wanted to test the power of domain names in SEO. I did some keyword research and found there are numerous searches on the expression “elite SEO”. No doubt many, if not the the majority of these, are looking for Brad Fallon’s SEO ELite software and they made the mistake of entering in the keywords backwards. I knew that but, as I said, I am right now using this site mainly for testing.
I also thought that someone looking for that software might also need an Elite SEO services company and maybe I’d catch some people that didn’t want to learn SEO themselves and we could also make some money, optimizing their sites, while we’re doing our testing, getting the results and publishing them.
I knew the power of using your principal keywords in your domain name so I tried to get the name eliteseo.com, as expected I couldn’t. I figured I’d test the idea of using www.eliteseoeliteseo.com and as you can I was able to buy this domain name.
Now, here is what most people would consider surprising due to the idea of Google’s sandbox and the philosophy that you can’t get a high ranking on Google quickly. Four days after I put up the site we were on page 3 of Google for the principle keywords we wanted “elite SEO”. Within a week we were on the first page and at the time of the writing of this post we still are, in the 6th position. We are also on the first page for at least 3 other keyword terms.
You could say that this wasn’t really a test because I already knew it was possible to get a high ranking quickly because I have gotten # 1, not first page, but first place on the first page in Google, many times, in under a week.
If you go to www.searchenginegenie.com/tools/DomainAgeChecker.php you can check the date the site, www.eliteseoeliteseo.com was first published. It will return October 17, 2008 and as you see it is on the first page of Google for the principle keywords we wanted. Where is the sandbox effect? Where is all the time that these experts say it will take to get you on the first page of Google?
Granted this might not make a lot of money for us but, again, as I said, I am doing this mainly as a test. If it makes us a little money while we’re testing so much the better.

We do what most say a professional SEO Services company shouldn’t do, guarantee you a first page ranking on Google or give your money back. I say, why would you hire an SEO company that doesn’t believe they can get top results for you? What good is an SEO service that won’t get your website found at the top of Google?
Both of the sites mentioned above have more than one first page ranking for their primary keywords. SEO For Local Business has 2 # 1 rankings “seo for businesses” and “seo local businesses”, 2 second place rankings and over 35 first page rankings for other principal terms.
Logically, since this is the first post, at the time I am writing it this blog is not indexed nor does it rank. How long will it take? Where will it rank? We’ll see and we’ll post the results because this blog is for all to learn about elite SEO services and strategies.

You probably linked to this brand new site from one of your establshed sites with a bit of juice - medium to high PageRank and plenty of backlinks. No big deal. I do the same thing all the time. Sometimes I can get a new site listed on the first page of Google within hours. And if you want to outrank someone, just check their backlinks and do better - get more and get higher PR ones. BTW Google recently said (Matt Cutts I think) that they didn’t give any higher juice to .gov and .edu backlinks - contrary to popular belief. Cheers from Paris.

The only links I have to this site are one on my static site, http://www.eliteseoeliteseo.com, that I don’t even think has been up for a month yet, 2 squidoo sites that I put up this month and a linkein page that I put up on Sunday. The Squidoo sites and the linkedin page are not in Googles index yet. You can check this for yourself.
The only other things I did were 1. pulled an RSS feed from those above mentioned sites to add some content and 2. used All In One Service Pack so I could alter the meta tags.
I only did that last night though after the site was already on page one of Google.
My conclusion, which was my original suspicion, is that if you put up a relevant, well optimized, site, laser targeted for just 1, 2 or a few keywords you can rank high, quickly. Why wouldn’t Google want to provide relevant content to those searching for it?
